CRAB AND MANGROVE FESTIVAL

Celebrated every last week of October, the Crab and Mangrove Festival proudly honors Buguey’s status as the Crab Capital of North Luzon. This recognition underscores the importance of our local crab industry in supporting food security and sustainable livelihoods for our fisherfolk. The festival is a vibrant celebration featuring cultural presentations, culinary delights, and the highlight – serving a remarkable one ton (1,000 kilograms) of Buguey Mangrove Crabs.
